The KAUST Scholarship for 2025 intake provides full financial support to outstanding students from around the world to pursue Masters and PhD degrees in various STEM fields including Engineering, Computer Science, Bioscience, Energy, and Environmental Science.

$20,000-$30,000 annual living allowance (depending on program and qualifications).

Eligibility Requirements
For MS Programs
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM field
- Minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 or equivalent
- Strong academic background in chosen field
- Research experience preferred but not mandatory
For PhD Programs
- Master’s degree in relevant field (or exceptional Bachelor’s with research experience)
- Demonstrated research capability
- Strong academic record
- Clear research proposal aligned with KAUST focus areas
Language Requirements
- TOEFL (minimum 79 iBT) or IELTS (minimum 6.5)
- English proficiency test waiver available for:
- Native English speakers
- Students who completed degrees in English-medium institutions
- GRE scores optional but recommended for some programs
